Over the long weekend I had three rosette cakes booked in, so they must be the next big thing in the auckland cake scene. Which makes me extremely happy as I just love creating them and they are just so pretty. They are a little tricky as the crumb coat behind the rosettes needs to match the colour on top so the cake really gets iced 2 times but wow what a stunning effect.
